Homeless shelter - emergency shelter for males - females and families for a max of ninety days. We serve lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm and dinner from 5pm to 5:30pm every day including weekends. Breakfast is also served every day but only to our residents.
Annual summer camping opportunities are provided at The Salvation Army Camp Walter Johnson in Davidson County N.C This camping experience is more than just a pleasant vacation. Children learn new skills and self-reliance. Trained counselors are on hand who understand their emotional needs and problems. Day camping is made available locally. Children receive shirts, back packs, hygiene kits, and workbooks to make their experience complete and hygiene kits, and workbooks to make their experience complete and memorable. Kids to Kamp, together we can make a difference.
We serve lunch to anyone in need every day including weekends. Lunch is served from 12-12:30pm. Breakfast is only for our shelter residents.
Provides emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, transportation, medication, and other emergency needs. May be able to assist with household goods and general assistance for people involved in natural disasters or house fires.
Assistance is given by appointment only.
Utilities: Must have a final notice. No deposits or re-connection fees.
Rent: the client will have to obtain the Salvation Army Rental Assistance form/W-9 form from the Salvation Army, have landlord complete them, and bring them to the scheduled appointment. Clients will not be interviewed if forms are not completed. Not able to assist with rent deposits.
Prescription: Includes blood pressure, heart, and antibiotics only. No pain or psychotropic drugs will be filled. Can only be filled once.
Furniture vouchers: only issued to individuals that have been in a fire or flood. A fire report must be provided.
Clients seen Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. by appointment only.
Food Pantry provides emergency food, pet food when available, and clothing assistance to those in need once every three months or as needed.

Provides a residential maternity home for unwed mothers (especially teens). Provides educational opportunities to residents, public school attendance (for minors), work study programs, vocational training, tutoring service, parenting, and adoption options.
Employment Source provides vocational training and employment programs for adults with disabilities. They operate an in-house work facility that employs disabled adults, and also place individuals in meaningful employment with local businesses and government agencies in the community. They provide vocational evaluation, job placement, job seeking skills classes, and counseling. Job training areas are in hand assembly, packaging, groundskeeping, janitorial, clerical, industrial welding, and retailing. Workshop items are for sale at the thrift store. Also accepts donations of used computers. Donating an old monitor costs $10, to offset costs of disposing lead in the monitors.
Offers a support group for parents who have lost babies through miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, genetic abnormality, or newborn death. Sponsors a candlelight memorial service every December 6th at 7:00 pm, at the Angel of Hope statue, in Cross Creek Park, Green Street, Fayetteville. The event is free and families are encouraged to attend to light a candle in memory of their child/children, and lay a flower at the monument.
Provides quality music & instruction in a Christian setting. Offers private and group instruction music instruction for a wide variety of age from infants to mature adults. Kindermusik classes for birth-5years. Clogging and Christian hip-hop classes for ages 3-adults.
Provide therapy and self-help groups on a variety of mental health needs. Specialize in mood disorders, behavior concerns at home and school. We also offer counseling on domestic violence and parenting children with Mental health needs.

Specialty services for individuals with HIV and other infectious diseases. ID specialists - both local and from regional academic medical centers - provide comprehensive medical care. Medical case management and comprehensive peer education services are available.
Offers clinics staffed by physicians and medical residents and students. Services include: Endocrinology, Pediatric Cardiology, Infectious disease, Pediatric Consultation, and Child Abuse Evaluation Clinics.
Speech Connections is a private speech and occupational therapy company.
The Resource Center houses several Cumberland County agencies including Cumberland County Department of Social Services, Cumberland County Mental Health, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and Cumberland County Workforce Development. The Employment Security Commission (321-6460) representative is there 2 days per week.
Provides opportunities for recreation and education for citizens of Spring Lake. Summer: baseball, t-ball, summer day camp. Playground activities for children. Fall/Spring: basketball, football, cheerleading, and soccer. Parks: Mendoza Park, Odell Road Park, Ruth Street Park, Wilson Avenue Mini Park. Afterschool Program at Community Center. Multipurpose Community Center offers: basketball court, nautilus equipment fitness room, three classrooms and banquet room, commercial kitchen with equipment, and game room.
Offers talking books, digital books, cassette books, Braille books, large print books, digital players, cassette players, pillow speakers, & voice over & videos, headphones, and attachments such as amplifiers for the hearing impaired.
The Hispanic Affairs Office works with the Hispanic Community throughout North Carolina.
The Mission of Stedman-Wade Health Services, Inc. are to provide quality, accessible, affordable primary and preventive medical and dental health care in a compassionate and cost effective manner to all populations.
The Steven A. Cohen Military Clinic provides Military Families with emergency financial assistance up to $200/ a year for prescription drugs, medical supplies, dental extractions, medical equipment, vision services, orthotics and prosthetics, and gas money for out of town appointments. Diabetic management services including, monitoring clinics, classes, and exercise. Eat Smart, Move More, a program of healthy living taught to church or civic groups. Including access to wheelchairs, walkers, bath assisting devices, bedside commodes, and other things.
Assists service members, Department of the Army civilians, and their adult family members in conducting effective job searches. Services include job search counseling, and assistance with resume writing and completing government employment applications. Provides speakers to the public and uses volunteers. Internet access available.
