Nutrition education and food supplements for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, or women who have given birth within the last six months. Children up to age 5 also included.
Offers child care assistance to current curriculum students enrolled at Fayetteville Technical Community College. Single parents, displaced homemakers or students who would not be able to continue their education without the availability of child care scholarships are eligible.
Operates a crisis pregnancy center with free pregnancy tests, transitional housing/financial assistance (when funds permit), emotional support, peer counseling, and alternatives to abortion.
Operation Blessing is (501c3) non-profit Christian humanitarian organization, that provides short term assistance with food, clothes, limited approved financial assistant and crisis pregnancy support, to those in Cumberland County and surrounding areas.

Our goal is to help seniors and recovering patients who prefer to stay in their own home while receiving personal care. We arrange for non-medical in-home care visits from registered nurses, personal care aids, and certified nurse assistants. We carry a wide range of packages to suit a variety of budgets and needs. A 3 hour daily minimum applies.
Plans, organizes, and directs structured and affordable leisure time activities for children, adults, and seniors.
Provides food and clothing to people in need. Also provides fans during summer (to seniors only) and blankets during winter. All items depend on donations and may not always be available.
Provides:recreational activities; informational programs/seminars; leisure classes; volunteer opportunities; fitness screenings/classes; adventure programming; intergenerational activities; senior games; monthly club meetings; trips and more for those aged 55 and older.
Provides assistance to eligible applicants whose residence was damaged during Hurricane Matthew. Services include grants to repair or rebuild houses and mobile homes, grants to completely replace mobile homes, reimbursement for money previously spent on repairs, homeowner buyout for unsalvageable homes, relocation assistance, and assistance for landlords with damaged rental properties.
Provides assistance to low-income individuals with health-related emergencies, when referred by a health care provider or human services agency. Services include a direct aid program which provides financial assistance for life-sustaining prescription drugs, medical appliances, vision exams and eyeglasses, supplies and transportation to medical centers and other medical services which the individual cannot afford. Closed for lunch from 12-1pm
Provides assistance with clothes for those community members in need, a voucher is required. Support services and baby supplies are also available for teen mothers.
Provides direct assistance to victims of disasters, fires, and hurricanes. Offers education on personal preparedness and volunteer training in disaster response. Designated mass care agency in local/state/federal disaster response plans.

Answering service: 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days a year for victims of a natural disaster
Provides direct financial assistance to low-income kidney patients in need and education to those who are at-risk for kidney disease. Assists with transportation to dialysis, medications, special diet, kidney donor expenses, and other treatment essentials. Also provides specialty programs to help patients afford treatment during emergency travel and recover from natural disasters.

Provides emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, transportation, medication, and other emergency needs. May be able to assist with household goods and general assistance for people involved in natural disasters or house fires.
Assistance is given by appointment only.
Utilities: Must have a final notice. No deposits or re-connection fees.
Rent: the client will have to obtain the Salvation Army Rental Assistance form/W-9 form from the Salvation Army, have landlord complete them, and bring them to the scheduled appointment. Clients will not be interviewed if forms are not completed. Not able to assist with rent deposits.
Prescription: Includes blood pressure, heart, and antibiotics only. No pain or psychotropic drugs will be filled. Can only be filled once.
Furniture vouchers: only issued to individuals that have been in a fire or flood. A fire report must be provided.
Clients seen Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. by appointment only.
Provides food to persons in need. Must be referred from Department of Social Services or other social service agencies. Serves meals on Saturdays from 11:30-1:00

Provides furniture, household items, clothing, toys, etc. for Soldiers (E-4 and below) and family members if they cannot afford to purchase them or in emergencies.
Provides health education about sickle cell anemia to schools and interested groups. Trained staff provide testing at no charge. Staff also provides counseling, follow up, and referral to other agencies as necessary and case management services.Limited financial assistance is available for medication. Other projects include research and screening. Manages the Cumberland County Minority AIDS Program which provides information and counseling. Call for information.
Provides hot meals and clothing to the needy and/or hungry.
Provides information for emergency situations such as floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning strikes, winter preparedness, and hazardous materials clean-up. Provides emergency shelters. Facilitates the process of emergency preparedness and planning for the community. Check website for more information.
Emergency: 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week
Provides spiritual guidance for both men and women. Provides food, clothes lending closet, counseling for substance abuse, domestic violence, and services for troubled teens.
