Emergency financial assistance up to $200/year for prescription drugs, medical supplies, dental extractions, medical equipment, vision services, orthotics and prosthetics, and gas money for out-of-town medical appointments. Diabetic management services including monitoring clinics, classes, and exercise. Eat Smart, Move More, a program of healthy living taught to church or civic groups. Medical equipment loan: wheelchairs, walkers, bath assisting devices, bedside commodes, other. Closed for lunch from 12-1PM
Employment Services, Unemployment Insurance, Career Resource Center, Re-employment services workshop, Veteran's services, Former Offeneder services, Federal Bonding. We have partner agencies located in the office that assist with training programs, vocational rehabilitation, financial aid, and the community college.
Employment Source provides vocational training and employment programs for adults with disabilities. They operate an in-house work facility that employs disabled adults, and also place individuals in meaningful employment with local businesses and government agencies in the community. They provide vocational evaluation, job placement, job seeking skills classes, and counseling. Job training areas are in hand assembly, packaging, groundskeeping, janitorial, clerical, industrial welding, and retailing. Workshop items are for sale at the thrift store. Also accepts donations of used computers. Donating an old monitor costs $10, to offset costs of disposing lead in the monitors.

As moms ourselves we understand that life is about finding balance and nurturing our minds and spirits as well as our bodies. By joining a Fit4Mom Village Playgroup and Events Club in your area, you will not only enjoy fun and playful activities with your child, but will build a tight community of like minded moms to share advice, tips and most importantly laughter.
Fit4Moms' Club, powered by Stroller Strides, consists of three essential components:
1. Free Playgroups (once per week) Our goal is to provide meaningful experiences for both mom and child(ren). We facilitate uplifting supportive conversation for mom and developmental activities for children that emphasize wonder, discover and creativity.
2. Moms’ Nights Out (once per month) This is a time for moms! The goal is to provide an activity to allow your moms group to re-discover adult conversation and personal passions.
3. “Moms with a Mission” Our goal is to provide you with a platform to help better the community where you live and play. We organize and inspire members to participate in activities focused on giving back to children, families and the environment.

Promote environmental stewardship and provides educational resources for the community. Offers walking trails, special events, tours, and school projects. Established in 1964, the Action Pathways, formerlly Cumberland Community Action Program, Inc. (CCAP), strives to develop and operate projects that promote the economic and social well-being of individuals, children, families, and communities. CCAP has a long history of providing sustainable programs to the surrounding community with a visible impact throughout southeastern North Carolina, providing life-changing assistance to hundreds of thousands of individuals and families on an annual basis. CCAP is the parent organization for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeast North Carolina (SHFB SE NC); the Consumer Credit Counseling Services (CCCS); the Comprehensive Housing and Weatherization Programs; Self-Sufficiency Programs (ASPIRE); and Head Start. Expectant moms will learn about the birthing process, relaxation techniques, coping skills, comfort measures, pain relief options, and postpartum care. Interessted participants are strongly recommended to take the prepared childbirth education class around the 30th week of pregnancy.

Family therapy offered to Cumberland County adolescents and theif families to address issues of substance abuse - school problems - juvenile problems - as well as other behavior problems. FFT is an evidence based model. Therapy is offered in client's home - one of more times per week as needed.

Fascinate-U Children's Museum provides children the opportunity to explore their world the way they learn best. Whether they be through creative role-playing, manipulation, interaction with each other and/or objects around them. Birthday party and group rates available.
Fayetteville Urban Ministry offers a wide variety of programs and services. Some of those services are, emergency assistance with food, clothing, and firewood. They also serve at risk kids, provide house repairs for the elderly and low income families, and help homeless people find suitable housing. Some of the programs provided are, adult literacy, one-on-one mentoring, and student support programs.

Our philosophy is that persons living with disabilities are the authorities and experts regarding their life choices, we have made individual and family choice and trust a must.
First Time Homebuyers Program provides financial and technical assistance with down payment, closing costs or gap financing for first time home buyers.
