Our Clothes Closet is a ministry of Evans Metropolitan Church with the purpose of providing clothing to needy families or individuals in the Fayetteville, NC community. The Clothes Closet is open on each Wednesday from 10 AM until 12 PM. The Clothes Closet is located in the Outreach Ministry Building on the Evans Metropolitan Church campus. Donations may be made Monday – Thursday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM in the church office. We ask that all clothes being donated be clean and in good condition.

Since 1982, we have seen literally thousands of people come to us in need. Through the years our community has generously donated clothing and food to reach out to their neighbors.
Due to trying economic times and cuts in social programs, many come to Operation Blessing to have their needs met, all without cost. We accept weather appropriate clothing, new underwear and socks along with diapers for infants/toddlers, as well as food items that will help fill the gap for families of various sizes. Food assistance is always highly sought after.
Emergency assistance includes food - rent - utilities - local bus passes - baby clothes and other items. Family support casework management and psycho-social counseling is also available.
Women's service club provides enhancement experiences for those who are educationally disadvantaged and culturally deprived. Raises money for local charities. Call for more information.
Provides assistance with clothes for those community members in need, a voucher is required. Support services and baby supplies are also available for teen mothers.
Offers services related to pregnancy by providing maternity clothes, physicals, food pantry, emotional and spiritual support, and children's clothing up to a 4T. Services are free, confidential, and available to all.
Provides furniture, household items, clothing, toys, etc. for Soldiers (E-4 and below) and family members if they cannot afford to purchase them or in emergencies.
The ALMS HOUSE or Associated Local Ministries in Service Helping Others in Unfortunate Situations and Experiences provides emergency food, clothing, and financial assistance for Hope Mills and Fayetteville area. A referral from Cumberland County Social Service is required.

Provides support services to military service members and their families.Offers essential programs such as childcare, hospital assistance, spouse support services, food services, computer training classes, health and wellness services, and holiday meals.
Emergency assistance includes food - rent - utilities - local bus passes - baby clothes, and other items. Family support casework management and psychosocial counseling are also available.
Provides food and clothing to people in need. Also provides fans during summer (to seniors only) and blankets during winter. All items depend on donations and may not always be available.
The Community Service Center provides emergency clothing and limited food items for those in need. Must be referred from Dept. of Social Services or other social service agency.
We believe the most effective means is to partner with families and the neighborhoods where they live to provide early help to vulnerable families. The help we want to provide is individualized, cost effective and outcome driven. The outcome will be families who are safe, have their basic needs net and increase/maintain health.
A program of Fayetteville Urban Ministry that offers food, clothing, household items and personal care items to individuals in need. Donations and volunteers are needed in all aspects of this program.
Fayetteville Urban Ministry offers a wide variety of programs and services. Some of those services are, emergency assistance with food, clothing, and firewood. They also serve at risk kids, provide house repairs for the elderly and low income families, and help homeless people find suitable housing. Some of the programs provided are, adult literacy, one-on-one mentoring, and student support programs.
