Assists pregnant women in getting prenatal care and community resources to meet their needs. Services are free and include prenatal education, blood pressure checks, referrals to services such as housing, WIC, Medicaid, prenatal classes, etc. Women enrolled in the program receive a Postpartum-Newborn Home Visit to ensure that both mom and baby are doing well.
Assists schools with meeting the needs of at risk students in high poverty areas. School-wide services allow school improvement teams to utilize funds for every child in order to improve student academic achievement. Offers preschool programs for qualifying students at-risk of not meeting academic achievement standards.
Assists service members, Department of the Army civilians, and their adult family members in conducting effective job searches. Services include job search counseling, and assistance with resume writing and completing government employment applications. Provides speakers to the public and uses volunteers. Internet access available.
Assists severely disabled people in developing skills and making environmental changes that will enable them to live independently. Provides guidance and counseling, rehabilitation engineering, attendant care and attendant management training, home and vehicle modifications, housing information and placement assistance, and assists with certain equipment purchases. Serves Cumberland, Bladen, Harnett, Hoke, Sampson, Robeson, Moore, Scotland counties. Rehab goals are to help with return to work and maintaining job.
Assures a safe and healthy child care environment in licensed child care centers and family child care homes. Monitors for compliance with the North Carolina child care law and rules. Investigates complaints related to potential violations of the child care requirements of allegations of child abuse and neglect. Promotes and assures the education and training requirements of individual child care providers. Administers and provides oversight for the subsidized child care program.
A subsidized child care service provides for the protection, care, and developmental experiences for children ages birth through 12 years old. Services are provided primarily to low-income families to support employment and training efforts or in conjunction with child protective services. The program provides assistance with the cost of child care. Customers must meet eligibility requirements. Boy Scouts prove themselves in an environment that challenges their courage and test their nerve. After they've been given the proper guidance from those with experience and know-how, the take their own lead, going places they've never gone, seeing thins they've never seen, and diving into the rugged world of outdoor adventure, relying on teamwork, and character to accomplish what everyone else thinks is impossible.
Build affordable housing, provide homeownership counseling, restore and revitalize low- to moderate-income communities, and promote and develop economic development opportunities through business development, education, and training of youth in Fayetteville and surrounding counties.
Care Coordination for Children is a voluntary program available to all children of Cumberland County. From birth to five years children with special health care - developmental and social needs are served. Care management services are provided by trained nurses and social workers to assist families in improving health care for their children.
Carolina Collaborative Community Care offers care management and disease management services to improve health outcomes and reduce Medicaid care cost. Serving Carolina Access Medicaid patients and their medical providers located in Cumberland County. To receive services, clients must be a Carolina Access Medicaid enrollee.
Catholic Charities provides professionally-trained bilingual clinical counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.

CCMAP provides medications to people of all ages with chronic medical conditions who need regular prescription medication, but lack adequate income and insurance for purchasing them. Does NOT provide emergency medication.

CHDO is a private nonprofit, community-based service program operated through CCAP whose primary purpose is to provide and develop decent, affordable housing for the community it serves. CCAP's CHDO program owns several rehabilitated properties that are rented out to families as a safe, affordable housing option.
Collection of formal wear that can be checked out for special occasions. A $10.00 fee is charged for dry-cleaning.
Collects volunteer donation of blood for use by patients in North Carolina hospitals.

Color Me Healthy is an educational program designed for children ages 4 and 5 years old to teach them the importance of exercise and eating healthy. Local training is available for child care providers. Teaching materials are provided once the training is complete which teaches creative and effective ways to use the program in their facility.
