The Hope Center is a City of Fayetteville-owned facility to address the needs of the homeless female population. The Hope Center will provide meals, shelter, computer lab and referral services to homeless women
To encourage the love of reading and learning, the UWCC in collaboration with EMBARQ, launched DPIL in 2005. It is our goal that every preschool child in Cumberland County has his/her own library of books at home. Children registered in DPIL receive a free book at home every month by mail until his/her fifth birthday.

The Child Care WAGE$ Project provides education-based salary supplements to low-paid teachers, directors, and family child care providers working with children between the ages of birth and five. The project is designed to provide preschool children more stable relationships with better-educated teachers by rewarding teachers’ educational advancement and continuity of teachers in child care situations.
It is the mission of CCAP’s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) to reduce energy costs for low-income families, particularly for the elderly, people with disabilities, and children, by improving the energy efficiency of their homes while ensuring their health and safety.
The Women's Business Center (WBC) provides technical assistance and support to women entrepreneurs who are looking to start or expand their small businesses. We provide assistance to women in the phrases of small business:start up assistance,, education/training, finance, management and marketing.
Your Journey Together (YJT) is a strength-based curriculum designed to promote resilience including strengthening the protective factors of both children and adults, as well as creating environments that promote resilience.. YJT aligns with Center for the Study of Social Policy’s Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework and with Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Six Key Principles of a Trauma-Informed Approach. The four modules of the YJT curriculum focuses on empowering parents to promote safe, trusting, and healing environments—all key elements of a trauma sensitive program. The first module explains what it means to be resilient and why it is important. The three remaining modules cover creating a positive environment, strengthening children’s protective factors, and improving the well-being of the adults providing care to children
This program works with at-risk youth and typically developing adolescents to build citizenship and leadership skills using an asset and community service orientation.
Nurtures, advocates and celebrates the arts in Fayetteville/Cumberland County. Provides grants to local art agencies, artists, and schools to increase and support art activities in the community. Produces International Folk Festival, Fourth Fridays, and Dickens Holiday.
Provides assistance to low-income individuals with health-related emergencies, when referred by a health care provider or human services agency. Services include a direct aid program which provides financial assistance for life-sustaining prescription drugs, medical appliances, vision exams and eyeglasses, supplies and transportation to medical centers and other medical services which the individual cannot afford. Closed for lunch from 12-1pm
Provides family foster care services for children from birth to 18-year-old and facilitates adoptions for children whose parental rights have been terminated.

Annual event held the first Friday of November that provides Junior Enlisted Soldiers and Airmen with a day of golf, food, and fun at no cost to the service member. In addition, the event provides the community with the opportunity to meet the Soldiers who serve.

Noncustodial Parent location, establishment of paternity/child support, and enforcement of child support orders.
The mission of Cumberland Disaster Recovery Coalition (CDRC) is to assess unmet needs and provide Cumberland County residents access, coordination and education of available resources in a long-term disaster caused recovery.
CDRC is awaiting case managers -- referrals are being sent to Lutheran Services Carolinas.
