Let’s Get Enrolled. Pre-Kindergarten Programs are open to children who turn 4 years old on or before August 31st of the upcoming school year.

If you have a child who will turn four by August 31, 2026, and you are looking for Pre-K for the School Year 26/27, apply today!

Becoming an NC Pre-K Site

The Partnership for Children of Cumberland County administers the NC Pre-K program for Cumberland County. Applications to become an NC Pre-K site happen every three years. The next cycle will be for the 2027/2028 School Year.

No-Cost In-Home Nurse Visits for Newborns

Babies don’t come with an instruction manual… Family Connects can help! Nurse visits are available to families with newborns up to 12 weeks old living in Cumberland, Hoke, or Robeson Counties and at no cost to families.

We offer free, unbiased referrals for families in Aberdeen, Fayetteville, Laurinburg, Lumberton, Raeford, Rockingham, Southern Pines, Troy, Wadesboro, and the surrounding areas (Anson, Cumberland, Hoke, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Robeson, and Scotland counties).
