As a military family, you have a lot to handle every day. Child care and other children’s services are just a part of the puzzle, and when you’ve just arrived at an unfamiliar base, things can be overwhelming.

The Partnership for Children of Cumberland County offers a wide range of programs for families living on base or in the surrounding communities near Fort Liberty, N.C. With our NC Pre-K program, we can assist you in finding FREE pre-kindergarten locally at convenient locations. We offer the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program to provide children birth to five years old with a FREE kid’s book once each month.

The NC Pre-K program provides FREE high-quality pre-kindergarten education for families who qualify. The NC Pre-K classrooms are offered at participating Cumberland County Schools, Head Start programs, and licensed four and five-star private centers. Space is limited and you can apply online today!

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library!

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails FREE books to children from birth until they turn 5, no matter their family’s income. Pre-K is an important part of your child’s education and prepares them for KindergartenPre-K not only provides a great foundation for kindergarten, but it also allows your child to develop and grow while learning skills needed to be successful for the rest of their lives.

Hourly Child Care
Offers reserved and drop-off care on an hourly basis at Loredo CDC and at the Soldier and Family Assistance Center (SFAC). Children must be registered with CYS to use Hourly Care. Registration must be completed in person at Parent Central Services.
